In early March 2008 Patio Products became the leading supplier of parts that fit Carter Grandle Furniture.
Carter Grandle closed its doors on Nov. 10, 2006 and sometime after that went out of business.
Carter Grandle was located in Sarasota, Florida on a thirteen-acre site, with over 280,000 square
feet of manufacturing, administration and dealer showroom space and was a leading manufacturer and
supplier of casual outdoor furniture, cushions and umbrellas. 23 parts in as many as 15 colors are
now directly available from Patio Products. An additional 13 Carter Grandle parts exist in the Patio
Products parts product line. Colored parts will be available as long as supplies last. Patio Products
also carries 9 Carter Grandle matte vinyl colors and 4 Carter Grandle textured vinyl colors. See the

30-918 - Rocker Spring 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 5" Fiberglass Rocker Spring
The 30-918 is only available in black. The black finish was added to the spring plate by the manufacturer because it has an ingredient that makes it possible for the furniture manufacturers to powder coat the chair frames after they are assembled. The black finish will hold an electrostatic charge that attracts the powder. You can spray paint the plates with aerosol paint from a local paint or hardware store. You should be able to find an aerosol paint that will come close to matching the original considering most of the spring plate is not exposed.
Fiberglass Rocker Springs do not have holes drilled. You will need to use the old spring plate as a template to measure and drill hole to fit your furniture.

Re-assemble the parts the same way that you took them apart. There should be a metal plate or washer between the bolt head and the spring plate.
